Wonderful food

We provide you with an excellent menu which includes delicious western and Indonesian dishes. The staff at the villas have also been trained by the owner to prepare fresh pizza dough and, with reasonable notice, can easily set up a pizza party, which can be complemented by succulent salads and home made dressings.

The dining tables in all four villas can seat up to 10 people and there are extra tables available to extend the seating capacity to cater for large dinner parties.

Ordering food from our menu is easy and just like being in your own private restaurant, simply show the staff which menus you require and our kitchen staff will prepare and serve everything.

Meals are prepared in a central kitchen and served by our staff in your villa. Alternatively, food can be cooked in your own kitchen so you can observe and pick up a few tips or make suggestions to the cook while you savour the aroma of the sizzling spices and fresh herbs.

There are several restaurants in the vicinity, the closest being only a 6 minute drive and the world class hotels and restaurants of Nusa Dua and Seminyak are only a short drive away.

If you want to learn how to create Balinese cuisine for yourself, cooking lessons can be easily arranged at the world famous cooking school of Heinz Von Holzen close to Nusa Dua.

Entertainment

Satellite television in every villa gives global access to more than 30 channels, including many movie channels, in several languages. In addition there are DVD/VCD/CD players for watching films and listening to your favourite music. Also included is a central library containing many of the latest releases. There is a large number of films available and the collection is constantly being updated. You can be sure that whatever you want to see, there is a very good chance that it is available.

The Garden

The villas are set in a huge garden that has many shady places to sit, relax and enjoy the views. There is a proliferation of fruits, vegetables and herbs grown on the estate including papaya, mangoes and lemons. Many of the salad ingredients, herbs and flavourings used by the cooks are picked daily from the garden to ensure freshness.

Nightlife

While the estate was designed for seclusion and tranquillity, it is conveniently located only 20 minutes? drive from the airport with the shops and nightlife of the fashionable Seminyak and Sanur districts just a little further. A short drive in the opposite direction will take you the world class hotels & restaurants of Nusa Dua, which has also become a favourite destination for water sports enthusiasts.

Security

We cannot ignore the tragic event which occurred in Kuta in October 2002 and many of our potential guests will want to be reassured on the safety aspect. While no one can guarantee absolute safety anywhere in the world, the secluded location of Canang Sari Estate makes this one of the safest places in Bali. Additionally, a team of trained security personnel contributes to the well being of our guests.
